Peekskill Firm Named To Business Council Hall Of Fame
Wheelabrator Technologies has been named to the Business Hall of Fame by the Business Council of Westchester.
PEEKSKILL, NY — Wheelabrator Technologies has been named to the Business Hall of Fame by the Business Council of Westchester. The BCW announced the winners of this years's awards Monday.
"We are delighted and proud to have such a distinguished and diverse roster of honorees for this year’s Business Hall of Fame. Selecting winners for this prestigious award is never easy and this year was no different," said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon. "The quality of this year’s nominees is truly outstanding. They represent the very best of Westchester businesses."
Wheelabrator Technologies is one of the largest waste-to-energy businesses in the nation. It is also an industry leader in the conversion of everyday residential and business waste into clean energy. For example, Wheelabrator has a very local initiative providing "green" steam to White Plains Linen from its waste-to-energy facility on Charles Point.

Wheelabrator and the other winners will be honored at the 2020 Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner April 28 at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
