Live performances from top local performers, topped off by Santa's arrival on Stella the Trolley
The 2019 Peekskill Makes Me Merry holiday campaign, sponsored by the Peekskill Business Improvement District, starts Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Downtown Peekskill with the Annual Peekskill Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Gazebo on the corner of Division and Park Streets at 4pm. The tree lighting is held rain or shine.
There will be live performances on the city show mobile stage by Peekskill's Cross Cultural Connection, the Peekskill City Singers, Arts 10566 Youth Choir, Renowned Singer/Entertainer of Classic Pop Favorite's Doug Ferony, The Kiley Center S.T.A.R.S, The Brasiles Ensemble, and Cortlandt's The Dance Conservatory. WHUD radio's Kacey Morabito will MC the evening.
The Grand Finale will feature Santa Claus arriving on Stella the Trolley, followed by the official lighting of the tree. Free hot chocolate and cookies are being provided by Kathleen's Tea Room, courtesy the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce under the Gazebo. Children can stay to meet Santa, take photos, and get a free gift while supplies last.

We encourage shoppers to discover our unlimited entertainment and dining options as well as specialty shops that offer personalized service—that's something you just can't get at the big box stores or malls.
