Stopped on the New York State Thruway, he faces a felony charge.
A Peekskill man was arrested on the New York State Thruway Friday night by troopers who alleged he was driving while high with a child in the car.
State police said they stopped him on I-87 in the town of Coxsackie at 11:50 p.m. for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. They ended up taking Jason K. Graham, 44, into custody.
Taken to the state police barracks in Albany, Graham refused to submit to a blood draw to determine the drug content in his system, police said. He was evaluated by a drug recognition expert.
He was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs with a Child, a Class E Felony; and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.
