Peekskill Man Accused Of Rape: Police

The New York State Police and the City of Peekskill Police Department investigated the charge.

PEEKSKILL, NY — A Peekskill man was arrested Thursday after being accused of rape.

The New York State Police and the City of Peekskill Police Department charged Miguel Pillacela, 38, of Peekskill, with first-degree rape, a felony.

Police said an investigation by the two law enforcement agencies found that Pillacela forcibly raped someone in the town of Cortlandt.

He was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail or bond.
