Peekskill Schools Calendar Is Available

Sept. 6, the day school opens in the Peekskill Central School District, is coming up fast.

Here are other important dates in the 2016-17 calendar.

Rosh Hashanah (school closed): Oct. 3, 4

Columbus Day and Yom Kippur (school closed): Oct. 10-12

Veterans Day (school closed): Nov. 11

Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 24, 25

Holiday recess: Starts Dec. 26, and school resumes Jan. 3

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 16

Winter Recess (school closed): Feb. 20 - 24

Holiday recess: April 10 – 14

Memorial Day (school closed): May 29

Last day of school: June 23

Note: If no snow days are used, schools will be closed on April 17 and May 26. If one is ued, school is closed April 17.
