Peekskill's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

PEEKSKILL, NY – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to clean that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day holiday. We gathered up the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Peekskill and Cortlandt so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store in Peekskill:

July 4th Festivities

What: Concert and fireworks
Where: Riverfront Green Park
When: July 4

The annual concert at Riverfront Green Park features Billy and the Showman starting at 7 p.m. Fireworks will start at about 9:15 p.m.

Nearby

Westchester County's Kensico Dam Music Fest and Fireworks is July 3 in Valhalla. Enjoy a picnic at the park with pre-concert entertainment beginning at 6 pm. A band performance starts at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks around 9:15 p.m. Admission and parking are free; carpooling is suggested.

Also on the 3rd: Fireworks at Louis Engel Waterfront Park in Ossining. The music starts at 7 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled to start around 9:15 p.m. (Rain date July 8.)

July 4 and 5: Rye Playland Special Event Fireworks Celebration at 9:30 p.m., 1 Playland Parkway, Rye.

And, of course, in New York City on July 4, Macy's 4th of July Fireworks on the East River. Viewing locations can be found here.
