Results In For Peekskill School District Vote

This year, residents voted by absentee ballot due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

PEEKSKILL, NY — Residents in the Peekskill school district voted to approve the $98.5 million 2020-21 school budget and returned two incumbents to the Board of Education.

The district's proposed spending plan for the coming school year estimates a tax levy increase up 1.95 percent from the current year's.

There were three candidates running for two seats on the Board of Education. School trustees serve three year terms and are unpaid.

  • Yes - 1,117
  • No - 466
