River Towns Real Estate Named Westchester County's First Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Affiliate

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, the new real estate brokerage network operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, announced that Prudential River Towns Real Estate with locations in Croton-on-Hudson, NY and Peekskill, NY, will be the first real estate offices to join the network and begin operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices River Towns Real Estate.

“Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a new franchise brand built upon the financial strength and leadership of Brookfield and HomeServices. I am confident that these partners will deliver value to the residential real estate industry, and I am pleased to have Berkshire Hathaway be part of the new brand,” said Warren Buffet, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. in a statement distributed to agents of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices River Towns Real Estate.

The official announcement was made on December 10, 2014 in front of nearly 100 supporters, elected officials, business leaders, and realtors at a reception at The Hudson Room, Peekskill’s newest downtown restaurant whose property transaction was handled earlier this year by River Towns Real Estate.

Cynthia and Joe Lippolis, known as the preeminent real estate couple in the Hudson River Towns, collectively have over 40 years of commercial and residential real estate experience between them and are backed by a talented team of real estate professionals, all of whom focus on assuring a superior client experience.

“We are happy that River Towns Real Estate is representing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices locally. The brand is fresh, exciting and intelligent. It’s also magnetic, attracting clients who may never have done business with us in the past. Our namesake is one of only a few organizations entrusted to use the Berkshire Hathaway name, a name known for trust, integrity, stability, and longevity,” said Earl Lee, CEO of HSF Affiliates LLC, who sent a videotaped message welcoming the Lippolis’.

Along with the name change, the firm is also re-branding its website, www.rivertownsrealty.com, which boasts commercial and residential listings, tips for home buyers, and information about the communities they serve. The site recently added community profile videos so that prospective residents and commercial investors can see first hand the beauty and history of the region as well as discover the recreational, dining, and entertainment offerings in the River Towns.
