Route 9A In Cortlandt Paving Status Update

CORTLANDT, NY—If have plans to drive on or near Route 9A in Cortlandt in the coming days, plan accordingly. You may experience traffic delays as crews work to improve the road.

Town officials released the schedule for the road work for the next two weeks.

The schedule is as follows:

• Week of Aug. 2 – Aug. 6: No work Sunday on Aug. 2. Gutter work will begin in the areas of Craft Lane. No parking on the shoulders. One lane will always be open, alternating traffic with flaggers will be utilized.
• Week of Aug. 9 – Aug. 13: Final striping. No parking on the shoulders. One lane will always be open, alternating traffic with flaggers will be utilized.
