Sunday Storm: Outages Linger, Roller Coaster Cold Coming
Severe thunderstorms Sunday evening presage a chance of snow mid-week. Here are details about both.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Most of the 30,000 customers left without power as severe thunderstorms downed tree limbs and wires across the Hudson Valley have had electricity restored, the utility companies report.
Given the cold front coming in, that's good — and it's good that the chance of snow showers is low.
At 11:10 a.m. Monday, CenHud reported just 2,605 customers still without power, down from 15,000 Sunday night. Most are in Dutchess and Ulster counties.
