WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Family fun abounds in the Westchester parks for the Dec. 13 weekend.

FRIDAY, DEC. 13 – SUNDAY, DEC. 15

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland. Kensico Dam Plaza, 1 Bronx River Pkwy., Valhalla: (914) 231-4033. A one-of-a-kind holiday experience featuring Santa’s Village, amusement rides, unlimited skating on an outdoor ice rink (skates included), the Winter Wonderland Holiday Circus, food and beverage options, and a dazzling light show. Holiday Crafts: Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Cross River: (914) 864-7322. 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Take a break from holiday shopping and make a holiday craft to take home. Refreshments provided.

Pre-Holiday Get Together: Marshlands Conservancy, Route 1, Rye: (914) 835-4466. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Stop by to celebrate the holidays early. Gifts, food and fun will be enjoyed by all.

Project Feeder Watch: Croton Point Nature Center, Croton Point Ave., Croton-on-Hudson: (914) 862-5297. 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. ID and count birds at Nature Center feeders with volunteers from Saw Mill River Audubon.
