Van To Offer Rides To 9/11 Ceremony At Croton Landing

It is provided for those who cannot do the quarter-mile procession to the site of the "Reaching Through The Shadow" Memorial.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — The municipalities of the Town of Cortlandt and the Villages of Buchanan and Croton-on-Hudson will hold a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2019 at the “Reaching Through The Shadow” Memorial at Croton Landing Park in Croton-on-Hudson.

Participants will gather in the Croton Landing Park parking area at the north end of Elliott Way at 4 p.m. for the ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Led by a color guard from the community, they will walk in procession along the quarter-of- a-mile pathway north to the site on the Hudson River.

A van from the Village of Croton will be in the parking area to transport those who need assistance.
