Iraida Rivera, a resident of Port Jervis and a former resident of Peekskill and Ossining, passed away on Sunday June, 11, 2017.
Iraida was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on April 21, 1948 and was the daughter of Antonio Rivera and Celia Sanchez Rivera. She was 69.
Iraida is survived by her daughter Belinda (Nigel) Ajitsingh; her four grandchildren Ethan, Kyle, Tyler and Anthony; five siblings Ilsa, Luz Celenia, Cesar, Edgar and Agredin. She was predeceased by her three siblings Leida, Olga and Tony.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 pm. The services will be held Friday at 11:30 am at Dorsey. The interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Ossining.
