Elizabeth Ann Cunningham, 85, a longtime Cortlandt Manor resident, passed away on February 17, 2015. She was born in Queens, NY on February 24, 1929 to George and Helen (nee Wilson) McGreevy.
On May 19, 1951 at the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill, she married George Cunningham, Jr., who predeceased her on May 29, 2013, after 62 years of marriage. She worked as a cook at St. Joseph’s Retirement Home in Peekskill for 8 years. She loved making latch hook rugs. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Michael B. (Jill) Cunningham, daughter, Laurie (Dane) Booth; and her grandchildren: Jennifer Cunningham, Daniel and Emily Booth, and great-grandchild, Jacob Kinsell. Her son and daughter-in-law, George and Lynda Cunningham III and sisters, Patricia Maglione and Helen McGreevy predeceased her.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday, February 23 at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 24th followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
