CORTLANDT, NY — The Lady Panthers from Walter Panas High School won the New York State Class A Girls Volleyball Championship Sunday.
The victorious team received an honor escort from Annsville Circle to Panas from the Mohegan Fire Department — many of whom just happen to be Panas grads.
They beat Kings Park in The New York State Public High School Athletic Association championship games at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls. They had an undefeated season.
