Work Closing Lane On 9A In Cortlandt

Con Ed will be there for several weeks.

CORTLANDT, NY — Yhe right lane on Route 9A southbound, between Catherine Street and Warren Road, is expected to be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., while crews perform utility construction activities, weather permitting. The lane closure is expected to occur Mondays through Saturdays beginning on Saturday, June 9 and last for several weeks while Con Edison installs a gas main.

Rxpect delays. Seek alternate routes when possible.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
