Beth Abraham Center Offering Free Zumba Classes

Open to the community and free of charge, Beth Abraham Center on Allerton Avenue is offering a 45-minute Zumba class every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 6:15pm for the foreseeable future. These classes began early this month and the turnout has been great despite this summer's stormy weather and excessive heat.

“These classes are being offered to everyone free of charge, from our residents to the entire Allerton Avenue and Bronx Park East community,” said Chandel Stallworth, Recreation Director at the nearly 500-bed rehabilitation and nursing facility. “ We want everyone to come out and enjoy our dance-fitness class that takes the work out of workout. Summer is far from over so it’s not too late to burn those calories, boost your energy and why not meet new friends.

The Beth Abraham Center is at 620 Allerton Avenue, on the corner of Allerton Avenue and Bronx Park East , viewable from the Bronx River Parkway.
