There are plenty of ways for you to support the June 4 Relay for Life event, the overnight run that raises money for cancer research. One tasty charitable option is for you to order homemade brownies ($15 a batch) baked by Sandra Panicker. Order before June 3 and the goodies will be delivered right to your door and all proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Celebrate National Paper Airplane Day

If your kid feels the urge to hurl a paper airplane across the classroom today, you may want to encourage it. Today marks National Paper Airplane Day, a holiday declared in 1944 by students at Strongsville High School in Ohio. 

Dust off the Lawn Chairs

The sun is out, and we should seeing a high of 80 today, according to the National Weather Service. Even if you don't have a chance to kick back until this evening, you should be able to spend some time chilling in the yard since the lows are slated to only drop to 67 degrees.
