Kids with brothers or sisters with special needs often face a host of their own special circumstances, from feelings less cared for to feeling embarrassed of their brother’s or sister’s condition. Pelham’s SibShop offers a five-evening workshop program in which children ages 8 to 11 have the opportunity to express how they grapple with having a sibling with special needs.

To reserve a space, contact Barbara Boroson at barbaraboroson@gmail.com or 914-217-0359. 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Pelham Middle School. Cost: $150 for all five sessions.

Here’s to hoping that the weather doesn’t interfere with the Pelham Middle School's and High School’s PTA meetings tonight. Both start at 7 p.m.

“Curious Exploration” is coming

may not be opening "Curious Exploration", until Friday, but Patch couldn't wait until then. So, we got a sneak peek and we’ll be letting you in on what we found later this afternoon. Picture this: digital media, mechanical forms and electrical tools that help you reconsider the connections between video and poetry, robotics and relationships, time and experience, viewer and concept. Yep, pretty cool. Check back at 1 p.m. for our exclusive slideshow.
