Final Farewell for Pelham's Ralph Caputo

The 79-year-old was a beloved and well-known face around town.

 

Friends and family are saying a final farewell to Ralph Caputo. Caputo was the manager for Off-Track Betting Corporation for nearly three decades. The well-known face around town, who was a member of the Knights of Columbus, passed away at his Westchester home at the age of 79.

Caputo was born back in 1934 in the Bronx to his parents Aniello and Emila. He is survived by his  wife, Frances; daughters, Veronica Howley and Diane Outhouse both of North Salem, N.Y., Maryann Link of Mahopac, N.Y., Gloria Albright of Rutland, Vt.; sons, Neil Caputo of Carmel, N.Y., Frank Caputo and Paul Caputo both of North Salem, N.Y.; sister, Gloria Marra of Somers, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Ralph C. Caputo, Jr.

When he died on March 17, Caputo was living in North Salem, where he was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Croton Falls.
