Fordham University Expands Graduate School of Education at Westchester Campus
University to host information sessions in January and February
West Harrison, NY – (January 10, 2017) – Fordham University will host a series of informational sessions to promote the Graduate School of Education’s expansion to the West Harrison campus. The first session will take place on Tuesday, January 17, at 4:30 p.m.
Among the offerings that will be showcased is the Doctor of Education (EdD) program. This innovative program, founded on the framework of the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate, emphasizes collaborative learning development. Each course incorporates applied research and dissertation development amongst small class groups.
The Graduate School of Education is also proud to announce an Accelerated Master’s Program in Educational Leadership, beginning in July 2017. This one-year program provides Educational Administration and School Building Leader certifications.

Information will also be available about the Childhood Education and Childhood Special Education programs for grades 1-6, as well as Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Special Education extensions.
Four information sessions are currently scheduled:
· Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
· Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
· Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
· Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
