More than 120 people , and Peter Giarrizzo was selected for the role of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Personnel. Giarrizzo hails from the Elmsford district where he served as Deputy Superintendent for Instructional Services. He takes to his post on July 1.

Go out for Mom’s Night
No need to wait until Sunday to celebrate being a mom Head over to the. The Bendheim Performing Arts Center in Scarsdale at 7 p.m. for a cabaret performance called Mom’s the Word. Expect "song parodies about the challenges of motherhood, written and performed by three moms, Dana Covey, Amy Mandelbaum and Scarsdale resident Erika Radin. Individual tickets are $25; $20 for groups of ten or more.
