Human Trafficking: Closer to Home Than One Imagines
Learn about labor, sex, and child trafficking both globally and locally right here in the U.S.
From The Manor Club:TMC is hosting “Human Trafficking : Closer to Home Than One Imagines” program on Tuesday, November 6th at 1:30 pm.
Lifeway Network joins the global movement against human trafficking by providing safe housing for women who have been trafficked, and offering general education. Participants will learn about labor, sex, and child trafficking both globally and locally right here in the U.S., who it impacts, tactics used by traffickers to target and recruit individuals, and red flags to prevent, recognize, and report a possible trafficking situation. Participants will leave with resources to
act.
The program is free to members, $10 charge to non-members to cover the program and TMC traditional tea.
