To get you as excited as we are for this weekend, we bring you 5 Things You Need to Know to carry you over through Monday.

Party for Relay For Life
Relay For Life isn’t here just yet, but your chance to contribute to this meaningful cause is. Join Team JP at tonight from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Your $20 Donation gets you food and music and the $10 raffle tickets grant you a chance to win either four tickets to a Yankees game or a 32" LCD Flat screen TV.
March in the Memorial Day Parade
Celebrate Memorial Day with music (five bands!) and your neighbors as you march down Esplanade to Wolfs Lane and head to Veterans Park (next to Town Hall on Fifth Avenue) to honor Pelham's fallen heroes.

Bask in the Sun
It looks like the weather gods will shine down on us this weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Today, we’ll head into the weekend with a high of 85 degrees and on Saturday, we’ll see partly sunny skies with a high of 79. Sunday’s weather is about the same and we’ll conclude the weekend with a balmy 85. Do we smell BBQ?
Eat (and Drink) Nisa Lee’s Seasonal Thai Specials
But, once you grow tired of manning the grill, head over to MAD Café for Nisa Lee’s succulent seasonal Thai treats, which she unveils today. Among your many dining options, you can soak your taste buds in Asian Salad with Crunchy Noodles and Toasted Almonds ($8), Grilled Ginger Skirt Steak and Sauteed Baby Bok Choy ($18) and the chef’s Signature Ginger Creme Brulee ($12). You’ll wash this meal down with your choice of beer or wine, which includes Lake County Sauvignon Blanc (California, $8/$25) and Cigar Box Malbec Reserve (Argentina, $10/$32). Nisa Lee is open for business Wednesday and Thursday 5 p.m.-9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday 5 p.m.-9 p.m.
