PELHAM, NY — Billy Sierra, a 25-year-old Pelham resident, died Tuesday in a road rage incident in the Bronx. He was apparently stabbed to death because he gestured out a car window at a man who was ticked off due to an earlier confrontation with a different set of people in another car, according to news reports.
Juan Garcia, 46, his son and a nephew were outside in their neighborhood when they yelled "slow down" at the driver of a car in which Sierra was a passenger. Sierra showed them his middle finger and they chased the car down. In the ensuing fight, Garcia stabbed Sierra repeatedly, the New York Daily News reported.
Garcia turned himself in Wednesday. He has three prior arrests for assault, including one in Mount Vernon, the Daily News said. He faces charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon and held without bail.
