Pelham Public Schools Announce Athletes of the Week
Eight students have been named as 'Pelham Athletes of the Week.'
From Pelham Public Schools:
Daniel Dempsey (senior), Football - Anchored offensive line with key blocks; the team rushed for 240 yards in team's 37-14 win over Riverside High School. Helping propel Pelham to a 5-1 record.
Lindsay McNamara (Sophomore), Field Hockey - Combining the first two games, Lindsay has had a total of 19 saves including a huge slide tackle save on a 1 v 1 vs. Rye's top player!

Teddy Carey (Senior), 10/6 - 7 saves vs. Ardsley, 10/5 - 5 saves vs. Pearl River, 9/30 - 5 saves vs. Rye
Emma Johnston (Senior), Cross Country - Finished 28th out of over 160 girls and helped Pelham finish 5th overall out of 33 teams at the Bobcat Invitational.

Jane Bryce (Senior), Swimming - Undefeated all season in every event!
Olivia Johnson (Senior), Volleyball - 21 kills, 3 aces, and 3 blocks against Eastchester; 17 kills, 1 ace and 3 blocks against New Rochelle; Contributing to Pelham’s 10-2 record.
Charlotte Krause (Junior), Volleyball - 14 kills, 2 aces against Eastchester and 14 kills, 6 digs against New Rochelle; Contributing to Pelham’s 10-2 record.
Amaya Goulbourne (Grade 7) and Catherine Taubner (Grade 9), Tennis – Won 2nd and 3rd single positions against Harrison, our league champs.
