Pelham School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

PELHAM, NY — The first day of school in Pelham is September 6 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Pelham Public School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/6: Early Release (Grades K-5)
• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/12: Delayed Opening

November

• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21: Early Release Drill
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)
• 11/28 - 11/30: Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/29: Early Release (Grades 6-12)

December

• 12/12: Delayed Opening
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/7: Delayed Opening
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/4: Delayed Opening
• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Mid-Winter Recess)
