Pelham Skater Take Bronze Medal in Synchronized Competition
The young woman is a student at Pelham Memorial High School.

PELHAM, NY - A Pelham high school student won a bronze medal at the 2016 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships this past weekend.
Taylor Blake, who attends Pelham Memorial High School, won the honor at the competition in Kalamzaoo, Michigan.
Blake is a member of the Skyliners Senior Sychronized Skating Team, which won the medal for the second year in a row.

“All of our hard work and scarifices paid off,” she said. “We had our best skate of the season.”

Synchronized skating consists of eight to 20 athletes performing a program on ice as one flowing unit, according to Skyliners organizers.
