PMHS Forensics Speech Team Makes it's Mark at Connecticut Tournament
Angelina Rosa, Kate McLaughlin, and Maggie Solimine all competed in Sacred Heart, Connecticut last month.
From PMHS: The PMHS forensics speech team had another strong performance on Saturday, Jan. 28 at a tournament held at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, CT.
Junior Angelina Rosa was a finalist in Student Congress, senior Kate McLaughlin placed 4th in Programmed Oral Interpretation and sophomore Maggie Solimine finished 2nd in Programmed Oral Interpretation, qualifying her for the NY State Championships to be held at Hofstra University in April.
Senior Alexandria Tiso and sophomores Violet Massie-Vereker, Athena Woodfin, Henry Drisen and Ben Glickman have also qualified for the state tournament at previous competitions.
