PMHS Names Athletes Of The Week

From PMHS: Seniors Julia Doucette, Thibaud LeFour and Emma Johnston, as well as sophomore Henry Driesen were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. Johnston, running for the winter track team, placed 3 rd in the 3,000 meter run and 4 th in the 1,500 meter run at the League Championship Meet. At the same meet, LeFour placed 1 st in the shot put and 3 rd in the weight throw. Driesen placed 1 st in the 1,600 meter run, 2 nd in the 3,200 meter run and 4 th in the 4 X 800 relay. Doucette had four strong games for the girls basketball team. Against Byram Hills she tallied 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals, against Harrison she had 5 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, against Rye she had 8 points, 3 rebounds 1 steal and 1 block and against Fox Lane she had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Doucette is second on the team in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks and was named to the All Tournament Team of the Pelham Tournament.
