PMHS Recognizes Athletes of the Week
Eight student athletes have been recognized, representing many of the sports teams at PMHS.

From Pelham Public Schools: Seniors Mae Mullany, Davis Allen and Thibaud Lefour, juniors Quinn Crowley and Tony Terraciano, and sophomores Claudia Dodge and Kieran Gilchrist were name PMHS Athletes of the Week.

Mullany and Dodge have helped the girls’ lacrosse team have a very successful season with Mullany setting up several plays and cuts for her teammates to score and Dodge notching 4 goals, 3 draw controls and two CTOs.

Allen, Terraciano and Crowley have each had strong performances for the boys’ lacrosse team. Allen led the offense with 2 goals and 3 assists against Ardsley, 3 goals against Byram Hills and 6 goals against Harrison.

Crowley has dominated faceoffs, winning 45 of 54 during the week while also adding 2 goals and 2 assists. He is also leading Section 1 with an 80% win percentage on faceoffs.

Terraciano has been a big part of the team’s defense and had 7 ground balls, 5 caused turnovers and an assist over the week.

Gilchrist has had a great season for the golf team, and has shot under 40 three times, helping him qualify for sectional play.

Lefour has had a great season for the rugby team, recording several tackles and many strong runs during the team’s game against Harvey. The team clinched its third consecutive trip to the State Final Four and will compete June 3-4 in Binghamton.
