Gail and Frank Orferi were honored at the annual Jerff Jones Yearbooks Appreciation Dinner in New York City on March 16.

From Pelham Public Schools: Long-time PMHS Yearbook advisers Gail and Frank Orfei were honored at the annual Herff Jones Yearbooks Appreciation Dinner in New York City on March 16. The Orfeis, who are both retiring this June, attended the dinner as the guests of Kristina Gisonde, Herff Jones Yearbook Representative and were thanked by Herff Jones area manager Nikki Filling for their more than 25 years of assisting students to produce an award-winning yearbook.
They were recognized for years of professionalism, dedication and guidance of students in teaching yearbook publishing, design and marketing. The PMHS yearbook has received a number of publishing awards at the local, state and national level. This is the Pelham school district's largest student publication and the Pelican 2017 just recorded record setting sales. The annual Yearbook Adviser Appreciation Dinner is part of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s three-day Spring Convention where representatives and advisers from all over the U.S. attend.
