After an extensive seven-day search, the Bronx Zoo staff located the missing 3-ounce poisonous Egyptian cobra inside the Reptile House.

Pelham Little League Parade

Baseball season has hit Pelham and the neighborhood’s Little League is celebrating with its annual parade through town on Saturday. Festivities kick off at around 9 a.m. at the Pelham Art Center and finish up at PMS. Patch will be there, so make sure to check back on Sunday for our story.

PMHS/PTA Open House

Peek into five neighborhood homes on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the PMHS/PTA house tour. The high school chorus will perform at several residences and so will a number of PMHS musicians. Visual art will be on hand too, as artists contribute Georgia O’Keefe-inspired flora paintings, drawings of Pelham homes, abstract watercolors and some pop art.

Spring’s Here, Yet so is Snow

After 11 a.m. expect to see some snow and rain, and a high near 44 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Gusts will blow as high as 25 mph and new snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible. The chance of our seeing rain continues mainly before 10pm with a low of around 35 degrees.
