Teen Hit By Train Dies

PELHAM, NY — The person struck on the tracks by a Metro-North train Nov. 18 died after being rushed to the hospital, MTA officials reported. He was 16.

New Haven Line trains were held up for almost an hour after the incident, which took place during the evening commute.

Pelham emergency responders were called to the station around 5:45 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
