PELHAM, NY – Are you trying to eat healthy? Got some recipes to share? Here's your chance to share the yummy and win a prize: PCSB Bank has announced its Healthy Eating Community Cook-Off, a program co-sponsored with the American Heart Association to raise awareness of National Eating Healthy Day, which falls this year on Nov. 2.
The general public, along with bank customers and employees, are invited to submit their favorite “Healthy Eating” recipes at one of PCSB’s local branches. The bank’s 15 branches are located throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Rockland counties.
“As a community-focused bank, we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the people in the counties we serve—and this includes physical as well as financial health,” Joseph D. Roberto, chairman, president and chief executive officer of PCSB Bank, said in an announcement about the contest. “The Community Cook-Off is a fun way to encourage people to make healthier food choices, while still enjoying delicious meals.”

Healthy Eating recipes and entry forms can be submitted at PCSB branches up until the deadline of October 25, 2016. Four recipes will be selected to represent each of the counties where branches are located.
The four winners will receive a prize and also be invited to present their recipes at the Healthy Eating Community Cook-Off Event taking place on Nov. 2 at PCSB headquarters (2651 Strang Boulevard, Yorktown Heights). At the event, a panel of culinary judges will be on hand to taste each dish and select a Community Cook-off Champion, who will receive a grand prize of the new Series 2 Apple Watch.
PCSB Bank is co-sponsoring the cook-off with the American Heart Association and bank officials said it also has made a notable donation to the organization. The bank and its employees engage in many local and national charitable efforts, including AHA Heart Walks.
Take your recipe to a branch of the bank and submit it with an entry form.
