28th Annual Strawberry Festival Kicks Off Thursday
Carnival rides, games, a Frankie Valli tribute, and, of course, strawberries are on tap for this festival in Bellmore.

Thousands will make their way to Bellmore this weekend for the 28th Nassau County Strawberry Festival.
Beginning Thursday and running through the weekend, people of all ages will flock to the Bellmore BOCES grounds for carnival rides, games, music, pie eating contests, and entertainment acts.
Obviously, the biggest stars of the festival are strawberries, which will be served in countless treats and creations, like shortcakes, cheesecakes, daiquiris, and smothered in chocolate.
