After Citation, Bayville Scream Park Enhancing Social Distancing
Bayville Scream Park is increasing its efforts to enforce social distancing following a citation from the Nassau Fire Marshal's Office.

FARMINGDALE, NY – Bayville Scream Park is increasing its efforts to enforce social distancing following a citation from the Nassau Firer Marshal's Office.
In a notice posted to the park's website dated Tuesday, the park said that, despite its best efforts there may be times when guests do not follow guidelines. Guests who do not adhere to social distancing requirements will be asked to leave the park.
"An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present," the park said in the notice. "By visiting the property, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.."

Face masks are required at all times, according to the park's website.
Over the weekend, between 200 and 300 people were at the park, Nassau Assistant Fire Chief Michael Uttaro told 12News. Officials issued a citation to the owner for violating social distancing guidelines, the station reported.
