Con-GRAD-ulations to Plainview-Old Bethpage JFKHS Class of 2021!

Plainview, N.Y. - The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District recently hosted a commencement ceremony for the 2021 graduating class of Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School at Hofstra University. More than 350 students received diplomas and commendations for their hard work and perseverance throughout such unique times.

“The Class of 2021 has truly made a positive, lasting contribution to the Plainview-Old Bethpage community,” said Dr. Mary O’Meara, Superintendent of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District. “We are so proud of their achievements and strength that they have exhibited both inside and outside of the classroom. Our District looks forward to following these students’ growth and successes in the future.”

During the ceremony, Valedictorian Ian Irushalmi and Salutatorian Elijah Blum took the podium to reflect on the last four years and encouraged their fellow classmates to work hard and follow their dreams. Uplifting words were given to graduates from Dr. O’Meara and Principal James Murray, encouraging them as they begin their next adventure in life.
