Cops Seek Alleged Handbag Thief
Police release surveillance photos of the incident that occurred in Hicksville.

Nassau County Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person they say stole handbags at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville in February.
Police say that on Friday, Feb. 6, at approximately 3:42 p.m., the person was at the Macy’s at 100 Broadway Mall, and stole two designer handbags, valued at approximately $800. The suspect then exited the store without paying for the items.

The person fled the scene in a black Nissan vehicle, police said.
