Crossroads Church Holding Blood Drive on Monday

The Crossroads Church of Long Island is holding a blood drive Monday from 2:30-8:30 p.m.

The church, located at 610 Carmans Road, Farmingdale, is encouraging donors to join them. Experts say a blood donation can save up to three lives and, at this time of year, blood supplies are often low.

The requirements:

•  Bring ID with signature or photo.
•  Minimum weight 110 lbs.
•  Age 16 – 75 (16 year olds must have parental permission. Age 76 and  over need doctor's note.)
•  Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids
•  No tattoos for past 12 months
