PLAINVILLE, NY – Due to poor weather forecasts for this coming weekend, Saturday's food drive in support of Island Harvest Food Bank for Long Island at the County Pointe ShopRite has been postponed.

The food drive will be held instead on Saturday, May 16.

For shoppers who would like to support Island Harvest Food Bank with a donation before May 16, collection boxes will be set up inside the store.

The food drive is hosted by Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker of Plainview, Legislator Josh Lafazan of Woodbury, the Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce, the Islamic Center of Long Island, Maffucci Moving & Storage and Berkins Van Lines.
