JFK Track Athletes Run Through Division Records

Several track and field athletes at John F. Kennedy High School left it all out on the track and broke various division records this season.

Seven athletes broke the records in the distance medley relay, the sprint medley relay and the 300 meter sprint.

Here are the respective record holders:

• Sophomore Troy Benson broke the 300m record by .5 seconds with a time of 40.7 seconds.
• Troy Benson, Josh Wicker, Alex Hilbert and Sam Iryami broke the DMR record by 25 seconds.
• Troy Benson, Tom Lee, Brandon Park and Kyle Sansaricq broke the SMR record by 5 seconds.
