The Learning Experience Plans 2020 Opening In Plainview

The national chain, an early education academy and daycare facility, is coming to Plainview.

PLAINVIEW, NY — The Learning Experience, a national daycare facility and early education academy, is planning to open a Plainview location in early 2020.

It offers programs meant to expand the cognitive, physical and social skills of children from six weeks to six years old. TLE offers before and after-school programs, a Learning Experience Academic Program (L.E.A.P.) curriculum and summer camp.

Per The Learning Experience website, the L.E.A.P. curriculum includes sign language for infants and toddlers, a phonics program, foreign language programs, manners and etiquette, physical fitness and a philanthropy program that teaches children the value of selflessness and giving.

The company acquired the 0.71-acre spot at 1076 Old Country Road for $1.65 million. Since its 1980 founding, The Learning Experience has expanded to more than 200 locations across the United States. Construction at the site has begun, and the building will total 10,000 square feet.

Real Estate Firm Colliers International arranged the deal, led by Directors Matthew Kucker and Jordan Baruch. The Learning Experience’s Executive Vice President of Real Estate Nick Vanella, who is also with ComRealty Group, represented The Learning Experience in the acquisition.
