Movies, Pop Concerts on the Farmingdale Village Green'

Two popular traditions will return to the Farmingdale Village Green now that summer is in full swing:

Village Pops Concerts— Performances take place on Wednesday evening starting at 7:30 p.m. Upcoming dates:

• July 15
• July 22
• July 29
• August 5
• August 12

Checker cab will provide free ice cream for the concerts.

Movies on the Village Green— Movies under the stars will be held on Thursday evenings. Cartoons precede the movies about 15 minutes before dusk. Upcoming showtimes include:

• Paddington— July 16
• Home— July 23
• Dragons— July 30
• Penguins of Madagascar— August 6
• Guardians of the Galaxy— August 13
• Mall Cop 2— August 20

The Village will supply the popcorn and kids can join Farmingdale-Massapequa Macaroni Kid for fun activities before the movies.

Thanks to the event sponsors: Farmingdale Library for providing the movies, Checker Cab for providing the ice cream and McDonalds for providing orange drink.

Additionally, Farmingdale Village has a craft fair every Saturday and a Farmer’s Market every Sunday “On the Village Green”.

The Village Green is located at 361 Main Street (Village Hall/Fire Department), bring lawn chairs and blankets.
