PLAINVIEW, NY—This summer, kids, adults and families are all welcome to join a two-month summer scavenger hunt across 52 participating libraries in Nassau County, New York State Senator Kevin Thomas announced.

Thomas will be holding a press conference at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library on Monday, July 1 at 10 a.m. in conjunction with Caroline Ashby, director of the Nassau County Public Library System, and Gretchen Browne, director of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library, to mark the launch of 2019 Nassau County Library Tour.

All participants receive a map to guide them and a sticker for each library they make the trek to. Each library has a unique feature to search for and prizes to earn along the way. Any person or group who visit 45 or more libraries over the course of the tour will be entered to win a special grand prize.
