PLAINVIEW, NY — Two people were hurt in a Plainview crash near Old Country Road and the northbound ramp onto the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway, officials said.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday. Police ambulances rushed the injured to local hospitals for treatment while the Plainview Fire Department handled a fluid spill on the roadway.

A traffic jam on the eastbound lanes of Old Country Road stretched to South Oyster Bay Road, officials told Patch.
