“People have been through a lot this year and now, probably more than ever, some of our neighbors could use a lift in spirits,” said Plainview Water District Chairman Marc B. Laykind. “This time of year is all about spreading kindness and a small gift can go a long way for a child who could otherwise feel left out this holiday season. If you are in a position to support this program, we strongly encourage your participation and help us bring a much-deserved smile to someone less fortunate.”
New and unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at the Plainview Water District’s main office, located at 10 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview by Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Over the past couple of years, the District has been able to collect hundreds of donated toys on behalf of the community for this good cause.
