Plainview Residents Pen Song to Fight Cystic Fibrosis
Local brothers Jacob and Matthew Orgel address the community about their new song and video to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Dear Plainview,
As lifelong Plainview residents and students in the Plainview Old-Bethpage school district, my brother and I have been fortunate to receive an incredible music education and tremendous community support for all of our artistic endeavors.
We recently decided to apply those experiences to form a new musical project, The Great Perhaps, a band predicated on creating music that will have a real impact on people's lives, and in doing so, will enact positive change in the community and world around.

In our most recent endeavor, we partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to create a documentary-style music video for our new single, “Song to Save the World.” The video tells the story of my good friend and fraternity brother Tommy Brophy, and the Great Strides Walk that he started at the University of Maryland. We are happy to announce that all proceeds from the song and video will be donated to the CF Foundation to fund research for a cure.
Creating a movement takes all the assistance possible, and we would really appreciate it if you would help us spread this message. The video can be seen on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcfJIBlq2H4, and the song can be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music https://www.smarturl.it/ststw.
