SUV Crashes In Front Of Plainview Sports Bar
Officials say exterior brick work prevented the vehicle from hitting the building.
PLAINVIEW, NY — Police and firefighters were called to a Plainview sport bar Monday night after a driver lost control of an SUV and crashed in front of the building.
Around 8 p.m. Monday, the Plainview Fire department and Nassau County police rushed to The Main Event restaurant and sports bar on Old Country Road, near Margaret Drive. They found an SUV smashed into exterior brick work in front of the building that prevented the vehicle from going further, officials said.
The driver refused medical attention at the scene.
