Woman, 23, Acccused in $10K Heist in Hicksville
Cops: Woman was employed as telemarketer at private home; stole money, jewelry from bedroom.

A Levittown woman is accused of stealing cash and jewelry valued at about $10,000 from a Hicksville home where she was employed.
Nassau County detectives said Nicole Hamm, 23, was working as a telemarketer at a residence on Picture Lane in Hicksville Monday when she entered a bedroom and removed cash and assorted jewelry from a dresser drawer. The total take was about $10,000.
Following an investigation, Second Squad detectives recovered several pieces of jewelry belonging to the victim at S & D Gold Buyers on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown.
On Thursday, police officers arrested Hamm at her residence on Knoll Lane in Levittown.

She is being charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny and was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in First District Court, Hempstead.
